I think you were right, now with the hair line higher and the scale a bit thiner she already looks somewhat better, also made her neck slighly longer and her hair a bit less...well thats to see, but now I just say, its her shadow, as it would not rub out completely.

I think that does help a bit. But I think next time, planning exactly where the hairline and the hair should fall before actually shading in the hair (so it'll be easier to erase), will be the most important step for getting the size and proportions of the head right.
