I was hoping Hawkeye would have his cool mask since they let Cap keep his.

I find it interesting that we've seen Hawkeye and Black Widow together for the most part...they were partners when they were introduced in Ultimates 2 I believe.

They were partners in the early days of the MU as well, when they were Iron Man villains. Also, they were partners working for SHIELD in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Yeah that's right. I keep forgetting their partnership in 616. I just have a recollect of Ultimates 2 because I haven't read early Avengers in a very long time. Probably since I was a teen.

Besides im sure he is just focused on his aim, and it will take some strength to pull the bow back, this isnt a kids bow you pick up at the Robin Hood museum in Nottingham.
As for them seemingly being together alot, I kinda figured, it was both because they were characters associated with SHIELD, and whilst they may share a poster, they are not worthy of a poster in there own right.
That said if Marvel want to make a Hawkeye and BlackWidow prequel movie, which covers there relationship up to "The Avengers" I have no objection to that.

it was Ultimates 1 volume 2 where Hawkeye and Black Widow were partnered, taking on the Chi'tauri. they weren't partnered together so much in Ultimates 2 since BW was into IM.

That's right. For some reason I thought it was the second volume...but yeah it was the second half of the first volume. Didn't Loeb or someone have one of them betray the Ultimates but this was a ruse or a retcon? I can't remember now because Clint's now a bad ass thanks to Hickman.

Compound bows are much easier to pull back, when fully extended the pully system alleviates a lot of the effort necessary to keep it pulled back, you barely feel the strain.
I have one myself (albeit a smaller metal one) and it's so much easier to use than the longbow.
