The audio isn't good but the video still works.

That's a very sweet scene (I definitely bawled at the end) but I understand why the cut it. The scene doesn't really fit and would've messed up with the pacing.

The gathered heroes scene that was blocked previously is back in case anyone still wanted to see it...

Remember when Tony gave Steve his shield back, Tony said he needed to get it out of the garage before Morgan got any ideas about using it as a sled?

Well, Morgan actress Lexi Rabe did that very thing and posted the video on Instagram. It's so damn adorable.

What do you mean Endgame wasn't nominated for Best Picture Oscar?!

I'm glad they didn't go with that version. I much prefer what we got (and I've always been a defender of that scene).

“To ensure that whoever possesses it understands its power, the stone demands a sacrifice.”

OK, so it’s a test. Doesn’t that mean the would-be possessor would have to make the sacrifice willingly? If Natasha throws herself over the cliff despite Clint’s attempts to stop her, how has Clint passed the test?

They were both willing to sacrifice themselves. That counts I guess.

While I certainly agree that what they ended up with was far and away better than the alternate version, I think there's still something rather remarkable about it.
I mean how often do we see female heroes go out like Miles Dyson, Kikuchiyo, Boromir or Logan? Riddled with holes, but still on their feet, still moving forwards, fighting to the last breath...off the top of my head I can think of a few that come close (eg. Vazquez) but not quite.

I rewatched the climatic battle again today (as spurned on by a Facebook post) and I noticed two things:

1) T'Challa's return hits differently and a lot harder now, especially with that defiant and regal look on his face. :wah:

2) There's a bit of big continuity error during the battle. It's very much a blink-and-you-miss it, but it still caught my eye this time. We see Scott and Hope dash to the van to repair the time portal and immediately thereafter, the Avengers play "Keep the Infinity Gauntlet away from Thanos." During that sequence, while Black Panther fights his way through the battlefield with the Gauntlet, for a few second in the background, you can clearly see Giant-Man shoving a Chitauri Leviathan back into the wormhole it came out of. Oops!...unless you want to say it was Hank or Bill as Giant-Man.
