Where do folks get those really great Lower Decks avatars? When I was on Twitter I asked some folks and they referred me to another Twitter user who ignored my messages. Once I can have an avatar I'd love to get one like that.

I just make my own.
Do you have a special software for that or...? I have no idea how one would go about making an avatar. :-(
I just use MS Paint to cut the image after I find one I like on Google.
Nope. Find a picture I like, copy it to MS Paint and crop it to the size the forum software requires.
I tend to use Paint Shop Pro, but same as above. Just find the pic (or screencap one) I like and trim to 200 by 200 pixels

I gotcha. I was thinking it was a personalized Lower Decks Avatar. Like, I've seen some that look like a graphic designer did an cartnoonized version of the person's face. Anyhow, yeah, I have about 13 days before I can.
