Dry humour, sometimes also referred to as deadpan, is a form of comedic delivery in which something humorous is said or done by a person, while not exhibiting a change in emotion or facial expression.

The world's best sit-down comedian (IMHO) was the legendary Dave Allen.

When asked what he had in his drinking glass:
"Is it whiskey, rye or scotch?"
He simply replied ... "Yes."

My entry is the king of dry humour with a glass of his hobby -which also happens to be quite dry:
