Australia - Series 5 in April as well

The floodgates are open, and now Australia's ABC network has announced it will air Series 5 starting in April, though unlike BBC America and Space in Canada, exact airdates have yet to be announced:

I do believe this is the first time all the major markets for DW: UK, Canada, US and Australia, have timed their broadcasts so closely together for a new season.

The ABC is going to make it available online through iView from Midnight on April 16th.

April 18 for Australia, with some sort of online/cable service promotion allowing some folks to see it on April 17.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the shortest gap between UK broadcast and Australia showing a new season?

Very cool. I also heard about a link on a friend's facebook's feed. Sunday night looks more awesome now with Doctor Who and then V.

Once again I'll be able to say, "Why yes, I'm a sophisticated ABC Sunday night viewer".

Really good news about iView, though, that's cool. I won't need to use, um, alternate methods any more.
