Aussies - Channel 72 to screen LOST, 24 and Heroes

So next month, channel 7 will launch their second digital channel, and have plans to screen shows such as the above in prime time slots. Heroes to start on Wednesday nights. Reaper is also due to start on Tuesday nights.

Hopefully won't be waiting long for either of LOST or 24, when they resume next year. And not at 11pm or later like it was this year.

I was wondering when Seven would finally launch their proper second digital channel.

I didn't mind the later slots for those shows because it mostly meant they weren't running against anything worth watching...looks like I should go and investigate things that can recorder.

What I like is that hoping both LOST and 24 should start a few days after they screen in the USA. And not 2 or 3 weeks like before.

I dunno how it works in the capital cities but around here 7's affiliate network, so-called Prime (there's nothing very "prime about it) has no less than five digital channels, all of which show the exact same damned thing. So some variety is both overdue and welcome.

Same in Bris, though digital seven does show a bit of different programming not much. All the channels did the same with their digital channels, 90% same with 5 - 10% different programming.

Just saw the add for ch 72 and noticed that "new" Stargate Atlantis will be on it. I also thought I saw Dr Rush appear so I'm hoping that Universe will be quick to appear.

I saw that ad and I thought it looked like SGU, as well. I have just watched the fifth episode(fourth to air)and it was one of THE MOST gripping and dramatic episodes of a SF series I have ever seen. VERY good.

I know that Universe is screening on scifi. But I'm a season or two behind with Atlantis.
