<PHEW>DEEP BREATH...
I just moved (over the weekend) into the house I bought in my same neighborhood, and switched from Comcast to AT&T U-Verse for Cable and Internet. When I signed up, they asked for some specific channels I "needed" in order to put me into the best Tier. I cited BBCA (Doctor Who) and AMC (The Walking Dead), since I know those are a couple of channels I watch, that are not carried by some Cable Providers in some areas, and I was assured I would get them, and in HD, when I signed up.
I tried accessing BBCA, and it said I wasn't subscribed to channel 188 and it shifted itself to the next channel up (Same result with BBCA HD). I tried repeatedly, but no dice. I was livid (Also, there was another channel, I believe AMC HD that wouldn't come up). Today was the first chance to contact them, and it seems they have moved those channels, since the printout I was given. I'm going to check when I get home, that the new channel numbers they gave me work, but, it seems to be OK afterall. I would not be a happy camper, if they took my BBCA and AMC HD away from me, since they and TNT are the main reason I subscribe to Cable.
