What does the Doctor say? "Clara, be my..?" Power? Pal? Powerpal?

He says: Clara, be my pal. Tell me, am I a good man?

The whole "I don't know who the doctor is anymore" line really does hint at The Valeyard. C'mon Moffat, make some magic!
But anyway, a 90-minute episode would take up a two-hour time slot once commercials are added. which could easily be pulled off as a telemovie-type episode.
Doesn't even have to be telemovie - there are a number of cinematic release movies that tick in a 90mis or less.
I wonder if the way the Dr used some of his regen as a weapon before he changed, has in some way affected this Dr.

I doubt it. The Doctor directing his regeneration energy to wipe out the Daleks is hardly any different from the Tenth Doctor wrecking his console room during his regeneration.
A thought I just had, regarding this "feature length" label, a 90 minute "double episode" could actually explain Moffat's rather sloppy form of stating how many episodes were in this season. I refer back to when he said there were "12 or 13" episodes. Is it possible he just didn't know if the premiere would count as one or two?

Could be, also depending on how they edit for repeats. I wonder if it will be split into two episodes in repeats and on the dvd.
Might get split and edited for BBC America, though.

And BBCA likes to add tons of annoying commercials in their tv shows.

Unless it's a specific two-parter it'll count as one episode, as for edited why would the BBC edit it? I might be mistaken but when episodes are repeated/re-run on BBC3 they aren't edited.
I've heard the chopped down versions of Journey's End and The Eleventh Hour are a complete mess, though.

Well, the Master DID say that the Valeyard happened somewhere between the Doctor's twelfth and final incarnations. While the Master probably didn't know about the new cycle, admittedly there's still a LOT of time now for this to happen.

Biologically speaking that would be between Tennant (12) and Smith (13).
Might explain why the Tardis exploded when Tennant regenerated in The End of Time.
