Augments Arc Line-by-Line!

Probably, considering that it covered three hours of programming.

Which is, what, roughly 2:15 without commercials? Would any of the movies have exceeded that?

Awesome job, guys! The Augments trilogy was one of my favorite story arcs on ENT, and since I missed out on "Shuttlepod One," I knew I had to get in on this one. :techman:

Unfortunately, I don't know episodes from TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY nearly as well as I do those from ENT (that's what I get for not having any Trek shows on DVD :p), so I'll probably have to wait until we do another ENT story (or a movie) to take part in another one of these. :(

Yes, good work all.

It looked fun, too bad I had to be out volunteering (Well training for the volunteer work I already do.)

Hope I get to pick next.

Congratulations, everyone! This was a long one to get through, and it took longer than our typical LbL threads, but you stuck with it and did it! However, it's worth noting that even though this was a three-part episode, you can see from those times that it's not the longest we've done by far. Heck, the single episode "Bride of Chaotica" from Voyager took almost twice as long!

LeadHead has been kind enough to compile the list of participants in this thread for me to save me some time. I'm about to get ready for work at the moment, but I will be back later today -- and that's Wednesday, January 26, AD 2011 according to the Eastern Standard Time Zone for those of you being picky :) -- to announce the results of the latest randomization.

Stay tuned!

The participants from our current thread are as follows:

1. CoveTom
2. Leandar
3. Skywalker
4. LeadHead
5. Alienesse
6. JanewayRulz!
7. Enterprise1981
8. Brian
9. Vanyel
10. Ziz
11. ClawsThatCatch
12. KirkPicard
13. ARMS87
14. VulcanPrincess

Those names should be in the order in which each person first posted to the thread. No "weight" is given for who posted more or less often. Special thanks to LeadHead for compiling the list!

(If anyone has been inadvertently left off the list of participants, please let me know and I'll try to make it up on the next go-around.)

And now, it's time for random.org to do it's magic...

*drumroll*

Brian!

So, Brian, the next move is yours. Would you like to select the next episode we are going to do line-by-line? You are free to select the next episode or pass and I will re-run the randomization. You can pick any episode from any of the Trek series that you like. For reference, the ones we've done so far, ordered by series, are:

The Original Series
Where No Man Has Gone Before
The Man Trap
The Menagerie
Journey to Babel
The City on the Edge of Forever
The Doomsday Machine
Requiem for Methuselah
The Trouble with Tribbles
Spock's Brain

The Animated Series
The Counter-Clock Incident

The Next Generation
Measure of a Man
Yesterday's Enterprise
Peak Performance
The First Duty
The Best of Both Worlds
Sins of the Father
All Good Things...
Contagion
Sarek
Face of the Enemy

Deep Space Nine
The Visitor
Trials and Tribble-ations
The Way of the Warrior
Improbable Cause/The Die is Cast
Favor The Bold/The Sacrifice of Angels

Voyager
Bride of Chaotica
Dark Frontier
Scorpion
Counterpoint

Enterprise
Shuttlepod One
Borderland/Cold Station 12/The Augments

Once a new episode has been chosen, I will fire up the next line-by-line thread in the appropriate forum and post the link here.

NOTE: As has been agreed, when a person is selected as the "chooser," they will have 48 hours to post their selection. After 48 hours, I will assume they "pass" and will re-run the randomization.

Does anyone have any burning desire for something we've been missing? Taking suggestions/nominees...

My personal preference in that regard would be for you to pick what you want to do. Don't worry about the rest of us, our turns will come up again and we'll pick what we want. At the moment, it's your chance to make a choice and I think you should pick what you'll enjoy.

Unless it's Voyager, of course. lol! :rommie: j/k!!! ;)

I was just thinking how the movies LbL started with TWOK after Ricardo Montalban passed away, then when we finished, we went into the episodes. But we've never done the one which spawned TWOK.

So I think I'm going to choose TOS:"Space Seed"!

And so it is done. :D
