Augments Arc Line-by-Line!

[Skywalker]

SOONG: No one is to be killed. (looks to the others) Is that understood? (they nod, and he turns back to Malik) Malik?

 

[Enterprise1981]

MALIK: Yes. Understood, Father.

 

[Skywalker]

SOONG: Alright. (he pats Malik on the arm and walks off, leaving a brooding Malik behind)

 

[Enterprise1981]

[Trialis]

ARCHER: Captain's Starlog, supplemental. Doctor Soong and his Augments have escaped on a Klingon bird-of-prey. Without any other leads, we've proceeded to the co-ordinates Soong gave us when we began this mission.

 

[Skywalker]

(A landing party is exploring the Augments' old compound, now deserted and ruined)

TRIP: Protein resequencer, water purifier...

 

[Enterprise1981]

ARCHER: Everything you'd need to keep a small colony of humans alive. Looks like this place doubled as a classroom.

 

[Skywalker]

REED: (grunts) Imagine having Soong as your teacher.

 

[Enterprise1981]

TUCKER: (getting power back on) With that and their screwed up genes, it's no wonder they turned out the way they did.

 

[Skywalker]

(The party continues exploring. Archer comes across some machinery.)

ARCHER: Trip?

 

[Enterprise1981]

TUCKER: Interfaces. They look a lot like the ones we have in our Sickbay. I'd say they took medical equipment with them.

 

[Skywalker]

ARCHER: I need to know exactly what kind. It's important.

 

[Enterprise1981]

TUCKER: I'll see what I can find out.

 

[Skywalker]

(A figure is hiding in the shadows, watching the party. He silently draws a knife.)

REED: We'll check out the rest of this place.

(Archer nods, and Reed leads part of the group out of the room.)

 

[Enterprise1981]

(Archer finds video files of Soong with the children at a birthday party)

ARCHER: I'll be damned.

 

[Skywalker]

(Reed and a couple MACOs make their way down a rocky corridor. After they pass, the young man comes out of his hiding spot and starts back the way they came, but Reed spots him.)

REED: Hold it! (he chases after the boy as he flees) Captain!

 

[Enterprise1981]

SMIKE: Leave me alone.

 

[Skywalker]

ARCHER: We're not gonna hurt you. (Smike tries to get past, but Archer blocks him)

 

[Enterprise1981]

SMIKE: Get out of my way.

 

[Skywalker]

ARCHER: We just want to talk. Malcolm. (signals for everyone to lower their weapons) See? We're friends.

Smike: Who are you?
