Re: attention girls: embrace your innerds.
CMA* vs PMS
The first three letters are far more damaging to one's mental condition.
(*=CMA Music Festival, formerly known as Fan Fair, the dream of everyone who loves the tourist version of Nashville and country music or the nightmare of anyone who's sick of it all)
I almost went xenophobic by the end of last night. The crowds were suffocating me and even the employee areas lacked any kind of privacy with extra staff on hand and an entire radio crew on hand for a remote broadcast from where I was.
This afternoon I got a reprieve when my hotel job let me go and hour early because all of the guests were at the festival and there weren't many check-ins as we were already full and had a lot of stayovers. It was just enough to enable me to come home for a bit instead of trying to relax in a parking garage for an hour.
Thankfully, I have one shift left to make it through and that's tonight at 5. Then, I shall return at full posting force to bug you people in a day or two.
Edit I used to get really irritated with people who said things like that. I always thought that if they felt that way they had no business working in tourism, or at least anywhere that they feel that way. However, since I've already realized that fact and given notice, I won't be too hard on myself.
