Unfortunately I don't know what the Asari is/are(?), but thanks... As I don't know anything about "Mass Effect" other than it is a videogame I believe. I am unsure as to when the game was published, but the Tellar concept is over 2 decades old now... (geez I'm ancient...)

Looks like something the minbari would/could field with some needed tweaks... or a modified Guild highliner from the newest movies with protrusions. What I find most intriguing is the hull texture details that seem to homage the old technology of the "Ancients" in the old sega video game series, "Panzer Dragoon". The image below is from the "remastered" version of the first game:

The Rutan is not that far into the future, I designed her for the late 25th to early 26th century. For designs that are much further into the future you need to look here:
