As for this concept....

... it reminds me a bit of the starship form of the changeling Laas. Perhaps a Founder-inspired Fed ship, or vice versa?

I do not believe that I did any more on her. I have so many connie refits that they kind of blend into each other. Most are just one view. I have learned that constantly revisiting her is a rather fruitless endeavour for me other than thinking of it as a car model that just gets redesigned, just to do it. I'd rather challenge myself in designing something that fits a said era, or preferably pushes it forward in a way no one has ever looked at it before.

These are fantastic but of course I've been a fan of your work for something like two decades.

I'm curious, have you ever attempted a modernized Daedalus? A couple of those designs almost approach it and I'd be interested in seeing your approach to an updated but still era-appropriate version, especially since I've got an interest in building one in the not so distant future.

Do you still have that one Sphere-hulled design from 3-4 years ago (Egads, that’s a trip down Memory Lane) that was pretty damn elegant? I think you had a drawing of it going into orbit around a planet or something similar… (Ship was to the left, planetoid to the right of the page/image)

She was a beaut!
