Bad news guys. His day job is writing.
He's not so brilliant after all.. .
In Star Trek: Deep Space Nine it is The Prophets plural for the wormhole aliens. The title At the Prophet's Door is singular, not plural. If the book dealt with The Prophets its title would be At the Prophets' Door. The title as written could refer to any foreteller. It could refer to an individual who is particularly good at analysis and forecasting future events. Or it might be a reference to the Oracle at Delphi or a prophet from another religion. Perhaps a reference to Mohammed in Islam.

Well that's interesting. We're still left wondering how, if at all, they will relate to DS9.

Too bad. I think there's a lot of pent up demand for a continuation of the DS9-R and filling in of that gap.
I was hoping Rough Beasts of Empire would fill the void, but instead it "teased" about those events that have not yet been written, making me want them filled in EVEN MORE.

Since it's in a review thread for his "Typhon Pact" novel, many of us with piles and piles of recent, unread, ST novels would have missed this news completely, in an attempt to avoid TP spoilers.
Or there are those of us who didn't read the book immediately upon release and didn't feel like wading through pages and pages of bickering before simply commenting that they quite liked it and thus missed out on said pages and pages of bickering.
