Astra's ENT action figures in action

That's really clever what you did to make the Archer figure looked like a he was in a Broadway musical number.

I am currently making my way through Enterprise for the first time. I've just reached the end of season 2.
Whenever I join a new fandom, it does not take long for me to buy action figures and start doing little scenes, inspired by what I see on TV.

Would anybody be interested in seeing some of them? Usually I post in the action figure thread in the Miscellaneous section, but since I am recently mostly doing Enterprise anyway, I thought it might be good to collect them all in here. Here are just a few for starters, but there is more. Way more.

Just a few bridge photos:

Wraith? also I wonder if Atlantis got the name wraith from the enterprise episode "Rogue Planet" which aired 2 years before Atlantis aired in 2004.

Yeah, I was doing a double take when hearing the word Wraith in Enterprise!
Why not, I do like to mix and match my fandoms ;)

Here are some season pictures for your enjoyment!

Oh how cozy looking!
Right? I was decorating my apartment with Christmas things and that's when I got the idea. The book is real, there is real writing inside! It's from Queen Mary's dollhouse:

I want that library. :adore:

In phantasy I agree with you, I love a good library! In reality I am afraid I need to tell you that those books are not real, it is just a (very realistically) printed paperboard :(

Adorable Christmas pictures thanks for posting them.

Thank you! I already have some more for you.

I was putting some stuff away and stumbled about that mixer and the little mixing bowl (which once was included with coughing medicine) and the gingerbread man which is a real one given to me by my bank office last Christmas and all of a sudden Jon started baking!

Well, at least Jon's got some running shoes on for when the gingerbread man inevitably gets up and taunts "Run, run, as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!"

Lovely, lovely, LOVELY seasonal scenes, Astra! :adore:

Oh! I have that book too! Queen Mary’s dollhouse is definitely on my must-see list if I ever make it out of Heathrow Airport on a visit to the UK.

I wasn't just talkin about the books. :adore: The whole tableau is dreamy.

Jon cooks too? He gets more perfect with each of your tableaux, I must say.

I decided that your thread deserved a permanent home so I just stickied it. I hope Hopeful is OK with that choice. Your work continues to delight me.
Oh wow what an honor and nice gift for the start of the new year! Many thanks! I'll make sure to fill it further with many nice pictures!

Alas I did not make any new for New Year's Eve so I hope it's allowed to re-post the one from last year. Even if I am a day or two late.

The fireworks were handmade by yours truly.

Thanks for the new year Archer and Malcolm and Porthos pictures this so fun to see thank you for posting them.:adore::beer::hugegrin::biggrin:

Yes, he is the perfect man! And now he has taken up photography as well:

This is a picture he took:

(and I got a comment from Robert Beltran for it!)

Oh no, he fell into the snow!

And then he looked like this:

Which is why in the first picture, you shouldn't zoom in too closely on his face. Dang, and I was so proud I had gotten the image so sharp that you actually could do that. But then you would see that I did not dry him off properly.

:guffaw:Thanks for making my day It was nice to see Archer instead of Trip having a camera and taking pictures. It's not fun to have snow falling on you while trying to take outdoor pictures in January.. I've had that happen to me taking pictures of my cats.

Oh! Where did you get the camera from? It reminds me of one my father used to have. He was a newspaper photographer. Very professional looking! :)

Oh boy! LOL Sorry for laughing but that is a funny image ;)

Oh wow, a newspaper photographer, that is a great job!
I honestly don't remember, sorry! My best guess - I keep buying Wrestling figures accessories. There is a lot of stuff available and it is in larger scale than the usual 1/12 dollhouse scale which would be too small for 7" figures.

I certainly have real (film) cameras from there. I used them in the scene where Scott Bakula moved furniture on set, if you remember. I guess that's where the photo camera also comes from, but it is possible that it was just thrown into the lot on ebay and not a proper Wrestling accessory.

Sorry it was rather quiet in here but there is a reason - I went on a trip to New York to see Scott in a musical! And it was great, obviously. So there was a lot to prepare beforehand and not much time for playing.

Before the trip, I did these two pictures. The first one is a birthday picture for a friend who does like - um, cake ;)

And the second one with the New York souvenirs I already had from ebay despite never having travelled there before. Believe me, now I do have many more LOL

I did take Archer with me but we only managed this one picture:

The reason I went there - we got a photo taken with Scott:

And I gave him a book with action figure pictures (of Agent Pride)

I also had smuggled in my before-after picture as Scott had been an inspiration for me starting with sports.
He said he liked this picture best and told me "Good for you!"

There also had been a Q&A where he sat on stage after the play and we got to ask questions like at a convention.

I also asked a question about the play and he looked right at me when answering and before he did asked me where I was from (I guess my German accent gave me away).

Also on Thursday we went to the ABC studios to see Scott being interviewed in "The View". In the breaks we were entertained by funny comedian Regina DeCicco. She asked where we were from and I said Dresden but I never know how to pronounce it. But Whoopi Goldberg knew how to spell it and asked back whether it was D-R-E-S-D-E-N and I said yes so that means I had a conversation with Whoopi Golderberg, right?

And today I learnt that she has lived in the GDR / East Germany from 1979 till 1981 and played theater here. I never knew!

So all in all, the trip was a success I'd say!
