Assassin's Creed Revelations

I kept trying it to the bitter end and it never fired again. I'd rather just allow the dens to fall and re-capture over them again. At least capturing a templar den is fun :p

Put a ton of riflemen on the rooftops, shoot at it with your wrist gun and use the cannon. That should kill it.

Dumb question, when you assign an assassin to a den, to "lock" it against being taken over by the Templars, do you still get to call on that assassin in combat?

IIRC - no, but you gain a slot for you to recruit a replacement with.

I already filled the entire screen with recruits, but I only have three "calls" to use at a time. They're all like level 9 too... I've been wasting a lot of time running around doing stuff and not progressing the story!

Aww, I was hoping for more! I'm at the point where I'm capturing cities on the Med Defense now and all my guys are level 9 or 10. I'm finally focusing on advancing the story since I did everything else, I'm at the start of Sequence Five now.

Beat the game. I skipped the Desmond Memories, did I miss anything important to the story?

I found the story really touching, showing the final moments of Altair and Ezio. It was so sad when Altair went into that crypt to die and protect the Apple, saying goodbye to his son.

And I thought the romance with Sophia really worked as well. It was very sweet and well done. Also, she had an amazing rack, lol.

I was disappointed there wasn't any shocking ending twist. Two had the revelation of the First Civilization. Brotherhood had Desmond murdering Lucy. That still hasn't been explained, btw! Why the hell did that woman make Desmond do that?!

My only real complaint about the story is that none of it took place in the "real" world. So the Desmond story was basically put completely on hold for this entire game.

I think you may have missed the reveal of who exactly John DeLancie played... or did the core narrative reveal that too?

his father, right? i don't know anything about him just that it's his father.
Nope, that was the important bit. I think you learn his first name in the Desmond missions, but you know the important stuff. :)

Otherwise, they just go back & take the background we already knew, and give it to us in more detail. Pretty much exactly like all the stuff with the Ancients was in Revelations too.

was it just me, or did the Ancient Dude's voice sound silly and funny in this one? The two women sounded cool and badass as I remember, but this guy sounded goofy.
