Because Chris had not seen the stars I thought he was going to die I should know by now the black guy always dies.

^Alex saw the dead police man's number written on a wall as a phone number a couple of weeks ago.

Well - I'm still none the wiser. It seems like there's a False Reality Misdirection going on to make us think it's All A Dream - and I really don't want that. In interviews, some of the cast have said that the ending is all kinds of awesome - but they would, wouldn't they?

I've started watching this again recently after going off the series. It is pretty good, but I feel that the revelations are coming a little too slow. I don't want everything to be revealed in the last ten minutes or whatever.
They seem to be teasing us with the stars. It's like they're building towards the same ending as the American Life on Mars, but they couldn't really do that - could they?

Me either. Unfortunately for me, the US series was the first version I saw. I'm currently watching the original series via Netflix, bless their hearts. Up to episodes 3 and 4 of series 2 now. Yes, I already know how it ends.
They're taking the pi$$. Graham and Pharoah hated the way they ended the US version.
