Well the 80s Cybermen got a nice design update.
It's really just their heads on the modern bodies more or less. Still a nice callback with those big earmuffs.

Bit off topic, but evolution works differently on intelligent species that can shape their own environment. We can shape our environment/living conditions while environment guides evolution. If we shape our living conditions so they fit us perfectly, it'll slow down or stop evolution because we will have the perfect form for that environment.Y'know, I have to laugh at any sci-fi writer that speaks of humans millions/billions of years in the future (without the use of time travel, that is). Evolution don't work that way, folks. Nature's not going to look at our present form and say "Well, can't improve on perfection."
However, I agree humans that far in the future, if we still exist, will be vastly different. However, it's more likely changes we've made to ourselves.
Excellent!!! Thumbs up!^ Or maybe a line about the TARDIS being sequestered away in siege mode for now so that the cybermen can’t get at it or scan it for clues to its technology.
I'm loving the potential of that little "I'm the doc..." slip from Graham. If it is as it appears, we're going to find out that there have been many more Doctors than we have seen, and RuthDoc is 8th of another set of 13 before Hartnell. What if Graham is the 13th of that set, and he always has been. He's there to retrieve his grandson, who's been chameleon arched and left on earth. In this last episode, they could both regenerate into Hartnell and Susan. Yes, I think Ryan is Susan. I think he's also there to watch this Doctor in secret, and I bet Bradley Walsh has been playing it that way the whole time, knowing he was also the Doc, and has put loads of stuff in there for us to watch again once we've seen the finale.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I've seen enough bad news this week, and I had this idea on the walk home and had to share. Feel free to laugh![]()
