Spoilers Arrow - Season 6

So I noticed, but had missed Thanksgiving, Oliver was using a different bow, this time a more traditional recurve instead of his lever-action recurve Oneida Kestral in the last episode. Did he break another bow?

So they set up an absolutely amazing plot, best episodes in years, with plot threads dangling all over the place, and people wanting a Deathstroke solo, and they take him off the table completely?? SERIOUSLY??? So much for the "no embargo anymore" crap. I bet we don't see Superman on SG anymore either...... smh.

Its true. Why pay to go see him in a movie if he's for free on TV? Superman on SG was just a trial run for a "happy positive" Superman, and with the positive reception, tehy used it as a blueprint for Superman's return, just like Arrow's Suicide Squad was a test run for the movie. The show's don't matter to them - just a free testing ground for movie ideas. Fuckin bullshit.

I don't think Supergirl's producers were following the movie division's orders when they introduced Superman; they did it because they felt it was time to tell that story. Just because there's occasional coordination between the TV and movie divisions, that doesn't mean everything's a vast conspiracy.

Suicide Squad, Superman and Deathstroke.... are all esteablishing a pattern of using the TV universe to experiment and figure out what audience repsonse is before doing the big budget movies....

Uhh, no, only the Suicide Squad is actually known to have that motive behind it. The rest is you trying to manufacture a pattern because it's human nature to want to see patterns in everything. Our minds screw with us all the time, which is why it's urgent to be skeptical of our own impressions and assumptions.

He does a decent job, but he's not head and shoulders above the rest. About on par with Amell.

Well, to each their own. I've loved Slade Wilson since the start of the series and one of the reasons Season 2 was my favorite season was because of him. And I would say he's more on par with Blackthorne, not Amell, who is a little below the two.

Pretty sure that the happy Superman on TV was in direct contrast to the movie version, and a response to all of the critical complaints about the angsty Superman in the movies. Pretty sure that the positive reception of the tv character was played out onscreen in justice league. They didn't take Deathstroke out of Arrow's hands (for the second time) until he was used in the after credits scene advertising a future big budget movie. We already know for a fact that Kord Industries/Blue Beetle were taken off the table and turned into The Atom and Palmertech. But yes, its all assumptions on my part. (No sarcasm.)
