Spoilers Arrow - Season 6

Cool trailer. Didn't reveal too much but it looks like this season will be as kickass as Season 5 was.

While talking about flashbacks this season at Comic-Con, Marc Guggenheim also announced a Deathstroke focused two-parter:

You're gonna still see flashbacks. It won't be every episode and it won't be serialized. They'll be character specific and I'll give you one example... as you saw in the trailer Manu Bennett is back for the season premiere and he's also coming back for a special two-part episode in the first half of the season where we're really going to be focusing hard on his character, post everything he's experienced on the show and we intend to do a Slade Wilson flashback story.

Canon novel "Fatal Legacies" by Mark Guggenheim and James Tuck to bridge seasons 5 and 6.

Available for pre-order in paperback.

Description...

The untold story bridging between ARROW seasons 5 and 6, exclusive to this novel! In the devastating aftermath of season five, Team Arrow must resume their mission to protect Star City. Those who have survived Chase’s trap on Lian Yu discover that his plans did not end there. If his legacies aren’t stopped, countless more will die. Co-authored by Arrow series producer Marc Guggenheim and James R. Tuck (Robin Hood: Mark of the Black Arrow).

I don't see anything there definitively stating that the novel is canonical. The fact that it's co-written by Guggenheim suggests it might be, and the blurb is doing its best to give that impression, but it doesn't seem that previous novels or comics have been.

Well, Guggenheim's involvement and comments made in other articles suggested it, but I do know how such things work in the real world. He will abandon it in a heart-beat if the story needed him to.

I can't even be mad anymore. At this point, I'm legitimately convinced that the Arrowverse shows make heroes into villains for no reason specifically to give fans the middle finger. To be a full Arrowverse screw job though, they'll also need to reveal at some point that the character they've been calling Richard Dragon has actually been *random villain selection* the Aztek villain Piper all along :rommie:

The trailers keep going to such great lengths to avoid confirming that anyone has survived beyond Ollie, his kid, Slade, Dinah, and Black Siren. Although the press releases still list all the team members from last season.

^^
Maybe the rest are all really dead and will only appear in flashbacks from now on ;)
