That would depend on if they decided to give her the powers before or after they killed her.
I really hope they don't salvage this love story. I'm unfortunately thinking the reporter will be tied to Prometheus, but I'm kinda liking that relationship right now. It's at least better than all the relationship angst that came before. And whether they could salvage the love story without the pain and realization that comes with *death* attached to it.
Arrow returns tonight. Can't wait to find out why Laurel is or appears to be back. The episode is called "Who Are You?".
^ You'll also have to get used to having a week or more between episodes.

They're going all in with sci fi show references in titles this year.
That's two for Babylon 5, one for DS9, one kinda TNGish, and one of the upcoming episodes is going to be called Spectre of the Gun.
It was swell to see Katie Cassidy again. I had completely forgotten about the Black Siren, but how did she know about the Waverider and all that time travel stuff, especially if she had been in prison all that time?
Nice return for Arrow. I appreciated that the whole Laurel thing was dealt with in the first 10 minutes, but the rest of the episode followed that pretty well. Looking forward to meeting this new Canery, who made quite an entrance both in the flashbacks and in the present. Excited to see if this season can keep going like in the first 9 episodes. In the previous 2, this was where the season fell a part but I have hope that doesn't happen here.
Also, please get Curtis out of the field. I hope this was a start to that happening.
So it wasn't the same person in the flashbacks as it was in the Bar? I thought it was.The new Black Canary wasn't IN the flashbacks; the character who rescued Oliver in Russia is Talia al Ghul, Nyssa al Ghul's sister and Matt Noble's Ra's al Ghul's other daughter.
