Spoilers Arrow - Season 4

But it seems like a bad idea for someone with a big secret in his life (i.e. being a superhero) to bring down the kind of scrutiny that comes with a political campaign. Although in this case, he'd be running unopposed in a city that's pretty desperate for anyone to be mayor, so that would make it easier.

True, but this is Oliver. When he doesn't do something dumb it's out of character.

Dexter Morgan was able to subtly divert police resources away from his hobby for years.

Mayor Queen: "The new annual budget for the Starling Cities Vigilante Task Force is $1."

I liked this EP. Felicity was awesome, enjoyed the flashback, Thea/Speedy killing machine & Hot Tub Lazzy Pit. :bolian:

I had to come and check this thread just to make sure I wasn't the only person who caught the Search for Spock quote. No one anywhere else on the internet has, and it boggled my mind.

Look at the link, there's a picture of Lian in probably a Halloween costume, as Speedy.

Was she a super hero? No.

Was she dressed as Speedy and probably called Speedy in that narrow context? Yes?

I've read the issue. They actually didn't refer to her as Speedy, but I take your point. However, she did often wear Superman pajamas, too, that doesn't make her Supergirl. ;)

Anyone else catch the Star Trek 3 reference from Malcolm? "What you seek has not been done in ages past...and then, only in legend".
Mark Lenard's delivery was vastly superior. Barrowman / the writers couldn't even get the quote right.

[/ relurks] :borg:

Following which she noted that his request wasn't logical, and Sarek said that his logic failed him where his son was concerned, IIRC.

I'm glad they started having Ollie and Dig work out there issue, and I loved Felicity's telling them to sit and talk things out. I'm glad that Dig finally told Ollie about Hive and his brother.
I was kind of surprised they actually had Holt learning about Felicity and Green Arrow already. I wasn't really sure if they were ever going to bring him into all of that, or just leave him as more of a side character. Was that a T-Sphere we saw with all of his experiments?
Lots of good stuff in Nanda Parbat. Very interesting stuff with Thea. We got some great scenes between her and her father. I think this has been her most interesting story we've gotten for her yet. I'm very curious to see how they are going to deal with Thea and Sarah. I like how they had Nyssa destroy the Lazarus Pit, so that they won't have it as an out next time someone dies.

They really seem to be into building a whole superhero community on these shows, so they're not too concerned with secret identities. Heck, even Captain Cold knows Barry's the Flash.

Ayup.

Pre-empted in Chicago for Bulls basketball - maybe it'll be on demand before the weekend but the Flash wasn't last week...

I'm so glad Captain Lance isn't evil.

I thought Lance's association with Dahrk would drag on for several episodes, causing him to betray Laurel, Ollie, and company. But I'm glad the writing didn't go in that direction and that Quentin is not beyond redemption, that he does stand for justice.

Sara has escaped! I don't think she'll pose much of a threat anyway.
