Spoilers Arrow - Season 4

Random thoughts:
- Wow, hacking is more exciting than I thought.
- I don't think Charlotte Ross has ever folded a shirt in her life.
- While progressive to show Curtis as in a gay relationship it kind of neuters his potential as a character as he's relegated to being a safe friend.
- Wonder how bored the Darhks would be in that community they made.

I miss Laurel ... There just seem so few of them without her and Roy.

Has anyone else noticed similarities in plot between Arrow and Agents of SHIELD? Damien Dahrk/H.I.V.E. threatened the world with nuclear annihilation. Hive-Ward stole nuclear missiles to turn countless people into swayed Inhumans.

All these shows. There were times I was half- expecting the Winchester brothers to help Agent Mills and Ichabod Crane solve supernatural mysteries.

Oh, and Cooper Seldon the hacker? Someone at Arrow must be a Big Bang Theory fan. Probably pointed out before but I only really started watching this season.

Some-one got creative with the chase scene as the ghosts are pursuing Oliver and Digg through the Ark.

Either Emily Bett Rickards is short or Echo Kellum is pretty tall - just never noticed before.

When cooper tells them he's taken over the computer system not sure if the utterance from Felicity and Curtis is "crap" or "frack".

Echo is 6 foot 4.

Emmers is 5 foot 5.

A small schism.

Also, if you ask google how tall an actress is, measured in feet, google will whisk you away to a website called wikifeet, which is an endless library of famous and prestigious nude feet.

Both. According to IMDb, they're respectively 5' 5" and 6' 4 1/2". So he's pretty much a foot taller than she is.

Definitely "frack." They're both geeks, so of course it was "frack."

^ I love that Echo is 6' 4 1/2", someone out there is very dedicated to precision. Is that with or without the hair? lol

Never occurred to me to think there was anything odd about half-inch height measurements, since my father was 6' 2 1/2". Of course, it is possible to be too precise about such things, since we're actually a bit taller when we get up in the morning than later in the day, what with gravity compressing the spine and such.

As this season comes to an end I don't think we'll ever get an answer to what was the big deal with all that corn that was the big reveal in the midseason finale... :rommie:

Well, THAT happened...
She died as quickly as Laurel! (But perhaps that was the intent?)

Random thoughts:

So no romantic angst with the regulars...is that a bad thing?

Not a bad thing to me... I mean, John Diggle is ALSO in a relationship...so a "safe friend" for everyone else...and that has worked out just fine. The Felicity & Diggle scene recently -- seemed like a great interaction to me -- and no sexual tension.

I miss Laurel ... There just seem so few of them without her and Roy.

Speaking of only few people... now I'm no expert on US politics, but if someone were to detonate a nuke on US soil, and the US government knows (roughly) where he is, would they not send a frakton of soldiers to take him down, and not just leave it to the hood guy and his driver?
Especially since that guy is still threatening to launch additional nukes within 24 hours.

Also, it was kinda strange how nobody seemed that concerned about a friggin nuke going off, even the newslady seemed like the next thing she would say would be "In other news, Kanye says something outrageous about P Diddy! More on that soon!"
5 minutes into the episode and everyone seemed to forget about it and proceed to make divorce jokes and talk about lying and folding and shit...

So, that was certainly a thrilling episode, but the entire thing felt like 45 minutes of wheel-spinning.
The previous episode ends with Darkh getting invincible magic powers, and Arrow being IN THE ROOM with him. Yet right off the bat Arrow conveniently manages to escape and then Darkh proceeds to spend the entire episode not doing a single damn thing with his amazing new magic powers. Come on.

That would be awesome if they made Vixen a regular character next season to replace Black Canary.
Also if she (or Constantine) doesn't appear in the finale to help against Darkh I'm going to be really disappointed (no spoilers, please).

^^
If she were to become live action regular, I think it's more likely Vixen would be on Legends rather than Arrow.

I'd like to see them replace Black Canary with Black Canary, because I thought the girl who stole Laurel's gear had possibilities. Vixen would definitely be good too though.
