Spoilers Arrow - Season 4

That was a pretty good episode... up until the last minute.

I liked Vixen and I hope they bring her back, it was good how her appearance made sense both on Darhk's magic front, and Oliver's father-son front. This is something they've been doing really well on Supergirl, tying all the superhero and work/personal stuff together, so I'm glad some of that is rubbing off on Arrow.
However, the one thing they just can't seem to do properly anymore is have flashbacks that have any relevance to the main story, those scenes again seemed tacked on for no reason.
Oliver's video message to his son was great, and Amell really sold it, and that's where the episode should have ended.

While like Mark said... Felicity literlaly walking out on Ollie:brickwall:

But i think it showed the problem that me & other fans had with the relationship - Ollie is the wrong kind of guy for her, and the break-up actually makes sense to me.

However, I do love Felicity on the show, and as part of the team. Just not romantically with Oliver (Sorry Christopher). Hopefully this is part of the arc, and not something they just realized.

Oh, and I am glad Diggle offered the pro-father perspective...and even if Ollie chose otherwise, it was presented.

I'm just glad that we got a scene built around the Oliver-Diggle friendship. It tends to be somewhat lost lately amid all the other characters and business, and it was good to see them bonding.

Great episode. Loved Vixen, and I cheered when she broke Darhk's totem and he lost his power.

It wasn't clear, though. His he now in police custody? I mean, the police arrived right after Ollie left (he waited longer, it seemed, to make sure), and with William telling them that he was with that man, he kinda should be. But then, we never got a shot of him in handcuffs, or an interrogation room, or a holding cell.

Also not clear whether Ollie is re-entering the race, now that William is safe. I mean, he should be, we don't want Mrs. Darhk to win after all.

I never quite understood the complaints about Felicity these past two seasons, but this time ... I mean, seriously, she got it from the boy's mother herself that she made him choose between Felicity and his son. His fucking son. What, did she really think he should have said "Fuck it, I don't really know the kid, anyway"?! This, and the alternate timeline with her getting mad at Ollie for having to actually take some time to think before choosing, yeah, I totally get the complaints, now.

Now, Felicity leaving Ollie, Laurel feeling a "sting" finding out Ollie impregnated another woman while she was his girlfriend, ... Are they trying to get the Green Arrow/Black Canary romance back on?!

Personally, I never had a problem with their relationship, it made sense, but I do have a problem with the problems in their relationship, which feel completely manufactured and fake.
It's worrying when an infinite energy battery and miracle walking cure are more believable than relationship drama that the show should rely on to anchor the silliness of superhero stuff going around it.

Regarding Felicity, lots of TV shows have engaged couples go through an apparent breakup shortly before the wedding -- anything to amp up the drama. So this is no guarantee that things are over between them.

Regarding Laurel, I think they wanted a scene of Quentin and Laurel bonding so they could set up that montage about fathers' love for their children at the end of the episode. I don't think it was about Laurel and Oliver except as a means to that end.

Lauren was upset that while they were dating Oliver was with Samantha - but Oliver was also with Sara during that time. Maybe that there was a pregnancy involved made it worse, but it seemed kind of manufactured.

Wrong. Oliver very explicitly did want to tell Felicity, but Samantha's ultimatum prevented him from doing so. This was made clear both in the pre-Legends crossover and again in this week's episode.
Oh yeah...I forgot that nonsensical little angle.

Doesn't change the fact that she acted so damn immature and self-centered in the original timeline...proving that if you're going to keep a secret from her for fifteen minutes, you might as well keep it from her for life, because she's going to freak out just as bad.

Link's not working, but going to the main Twitter page, I think I see what you were trying to indicate. A certain spoilery photo, correct?

This, this, this!

And this!

And this one for the Like!

Regarding who's in the grave, I have a new theory....I don't think William and his mom are out of the woods yet. Sending them away doesn't necessarily make them safe, especially when a revenge-bent Malcolm knows about them. I think that the person in the grave will be the mom, because that puts Oliver in a very interesting place...he'd been trying to keep his son out of his life for the boy's safety, only to find himself needing to step up and take responsibility as the surviving parent. And if Ollie and Felicity are destined to get back together, she gets to add "stepmom" to the many hats she wears on the show.

I'm still not convinced it isn't William for the same reasons. But... killing Oliver's kid is pretty dark, so I could definitely see it being Samantha. I really like Felicity and Oliver together, and this contrived drama needs to just go away already.

Excellent episode! Always love it when they crossover with another hero. Now I want to go watch this webisode animated series.

My power cut off for five minutes at the end. I saw Darhk losing his powers and the cops showing up. What happened then? Is Darhk arrested? Discredited? What about his wife? The next thing I saw was Ollie recording his message for his son.

There was a scene at the police station where Vixen tells Ollie that things will be better if he's out of Williams life and inside Quentin says that the boy was taken by a man with only one hand which leads to a confrontation between Thea and Malcolm that can summed up by the instruction for him the GTFO.
