Arrow - Season 3

Maybe Hartley could come back as Aquaman and then they could finally get some money back from that unaired Aquaman pilot he did, calling it a special Flash-tie-in-Event?

Hartley was really quite good on Emily Owens, but everyone is a massive moustachio twirling ham on Revenge... Although if you want to see him making out a lot with another blokes, you should really catch up on Revenge.

What's to keep Arrow from introducing Batgirl on the show? I'm sure they would love to.

I would be all over that. I'm not sure if there would be any rights issues to overcome but I would be sooo down for some Batgirl being on the show. It would be easy enough to have her needing to follow a lead on a baddie to Starling City or even maybe have Oliver need to jump over to Gotham.

I think going to Gotham would be out of the question due to the Fox show. However plenty of other great DC cities to visit. Opal city would be high on my list as would Fawcett and Hub.

If they were to introduce Barbara Gordon onto Arrow, I would think it would more likely be as Oracle. It would allow them to use the character, but they wouldn't necessarily have to directly reference Batman or Gotham.

It's called a bat-embargo.

Smallville had one.

However... The loophole created between Marvel and Fox to allow the Simultaneous use of the Maximoff twins in both of their upcoming next summer projects sets a precedence that DC might also chose to exploit.

That would be really cool, but like Guy Gardener said, Smallville wasn't allowed to use Bat-characters, not even Bat family people, so I can see Arrow not being allowed to use anyone. Then again, we've gotten a daughter of Ra's Al Ghul's, and the league of assassins, so who knows? I'd like the see Oracle pop up. Unfortunately, I think the best way to do it isn't possible, since Arrow insisted on making Helena a completely irredeemable villain. Seeing BC, Huntress and Oracle together on Arrow would have been awesome.

He's still got a bow.

That's the line between Speedy and Arsenal.

Get rid of the bow Roy and then I'll take you seriously.

Any chance of Cheshire next season?

But then Colton better be careful about how closely he wants his TV character to follow the example from the comics or he's going to have to start pretending that one of his arms has been ripped off in a fight.

The Childish little anime Teen Titans Go cartoon on cartoon network that just began season 2 a couple weeks ago... Speedy asks Starfire on a date. Robin rants about how Speedy is the worst, everyone else says "But you're practically twins". Robin kidnaps Speedy, Steals his costume, ties him up in a closet, then leaves the young archer there and progresses to go on Speedy's date with Starfire as Speedy where he will be such a horrible date that she will never ask out Speedy on a date ever again. The real Speedy eventually escapes, and disguised as Robin, crashes his own date with Starfire (still dressed as Robin) where he acts like the worst date ever as well, so that Starfire will never ever go on a date with Robin again either.

Oscar Wilde would be proud?

Looks cool! :bolian:

Love it!!! Also glad they went for Arsenal. I checked out the character's history in comics, and although I'm not sure what would be more appropriate, a Green Arrow and Red Arrow is a bit to much. Two different names are nicer, IMO.

But what will Diggle be? he seems like a better "Arsenal" -- a military man, he'd have knowledge of diverse weaponry.

But i understand that "red Arrow" would be much...especially without a GREEn Arrow!:bolian:

The mere presense of a Red Arrow, could force them to start calling him Green Arrow.

Although thinking about those two running around the city riddling the criminal element with arrows, I'm reminded of a line form True Blood...

According to Nan Flanagan, you-- what is it she liked to call you guys? "Fuckup One" and "Fuckup Two"-- you have made egregious errors.

I like the costume. I'm glad that they have made it a little different style from Oliver's costume. I half expected them to just dye one of Ollie's green outfits red.
