Arrow - Season 3

Sigh...glaring continuity violation. Felicity's clothes didn't catch fire tonight after a Flash 'n dash. Dammit, consistency producers...consistency! ;D

Different materials have different combustion rates and Barry is running at different speeds, and going with or against the wind is probably a huge factor towards increased friction.

Imagine Hartley as an Arrow copycat? :D

Aja Naomi King is on How to get away to with Murder which is also produced by Shonda.

Kelly McCreary is Meredith new sister, but I liked her more as the airhead lesbian on Emily Owens.

Hmmm...

I just realized that Shonda probably thought of Mamie Gummer as a filthy traitor, for trying to massproduce Greys, after the little blonde girl was nurtured in Shonda's bosom as an acid tongued ##### on the short lived Off the Map.

I stopped watching Arrow mid-season one right after Ollie killed a bad guy for the heinous crime of discovering his secret ID. I could handle his Punisher-style retribution for the most part, but this, to me, was crossing a line.

On last night's Flash, Barry stated that Ollie doesn't kill anymore and that the cops are now cool with him. If I were to attempt to pick up Arrow where I left off, would I find this issue handled in a satisfactory way, or was it just dismissed with handwavium?

You stopped during mid season of year one? Picking up where you left off, you'll find that the major theme of season two, was Ollie's transition from "vigilante" to The Arrow. He's not down with lethal force now as he was when the show started.

I think it was handled relatively well. It's not an abrupt thing and it doesn't whitewash what happened before.

Although I'm not remembering who he killed solely for discovering his identity.

Agreed - it's a character change addressed in the plot somewhat gradually rather than something they changed from s1 like flipping a switch.

I really liked this crossover event. This episode in particular showed more teamwork dynamic than the first part (Flash), probably because it included Lyla and Roy in the story.

My only gripe is the "defuse the bomb" scenario is so overused in so many stories that you already expect the good guys to stop the explosion, with 0.9999999 of a second remaining on the clock. The only difference this time was that all the wires had to be cut at precisely the same time in five different locations, but hey, it just so happened that a metahuman with superspeed was visiting Starling City and could easily transport four of his friends to help stop the detonations.

part two of the team up was more fun. i liked Captain Lance's Bart Allen slip up.

It took me a very long to time, years really, to notice that both Bart and Barry are equally short for Bartholomew.

A sword duel with Ra's in the snow? Oh please.

Also, I wish they'd decide on they're going to pronounce it already. It's like they switch back and forth from the traditional pronunciation to the Nolan pronunciation on a weekly basis.

Generals don't fight, or really, they "shouldn't" fight.

They order their soldiers to fight, or they order their soldiers to surrender.

A general in harms way cannot be allowed to maintain the powers of a general.

Actually, it seems pretty consistent. Nyssa (i.e., his daughter) pronounces is "Reysh" while the white folk say "Rahs."

You know there could be two of them?

Two men right up near the top with very similar names.

Possibly brothers or father and son?
