Is it just me, or was Nyssa flirting with Laurel by the end of this week's ep?
I got that vibe, too. Maybe she has thing for Lance women.

I wonder if in the future we'll get to see Sara in Nyssa's flashbacks as she contemplates her father's complaint that Sara was never "one of us" or see Sara as Nyssa shares her memories of lover with her sister to assuage their (her and Laurel's) grief.
Just like Tommy.
Looking forward to the Felicity episode. The more screen time for her , the better. 
As for the overall plot of the season, where do you think it is heading? It just seems like the writers are a bit undecided. Several possible themes (Laurel becoming the Black Canary, dealing with the abuses of Amanda Waller, the conflict with Merlyn, the conflict with the League, etc.) but none of them seem to be the focus.

I think they've got a lot of individual character arcs. Laurel's is probably going to stay on the slower burn we've seen, and I highly doubt she'll be full-on BC until the end of the season, if not at some point next season. Thea, Malcolm, the al Ghuls and Amanda Waller will likely be the main focus of the plot this year, so I think we'll start tying it all together once the smaller character episodes are dealt with. We had Digg, Felicity's past is this week, and presumably Chief Lance and Roy will have their own too.

The producers have said the character will return in flashbacks.
I don't think there's any secret involved in that the show hasn't accounted for all of Sara's time before coming back to Starling City.

Yeah, especially since Nyssa and her father seem to be pretty big focuses of the season, and there's a pretty good chance that if one or both them have flashback episodes, she'll probably be involved. I would be more shocked if that didn't happen then if it did.
Flashbacks are going to be limited to living characters. Would it make any sense to give a flashback to Shadow now?
Sara flashbacks will be limited to probably Nyssa, if at all. I don't really feel that I NEED Sara flashbacks there. I get the story. If the flashbacks add to the story, then they are worth it.
Flashbacks need to drive the current story forward, or they are just boring. As much as I would love a show that is a spinoff featuring Sara, I realize that is not going to happen, and I do not expect an individual storyline devoted to Sara through flashbacks.

They need to keep her in flashbacks as long as possible and maybe get her into the Lazarus pit. I like her and I feel bad for Quentin.
I do too. When they mentioned that they were keeping her body in the freezer I immediately thought of the Lazarus pit.
I think that bird has flown. My preferences don't drive the series. If they could bring Sara back I would be ecstatic, but I don't foresee it. I can live with Laurel becoming BC if it takes more than a couple of months of training. I prefer Sara, but only if there is a credible possibility, and right now I don't see one.
