Arrow/Flash Superhero Team-Up Spinoff In Works At CW

I thought so when I copied and pasted it! I tried to keep as close as possible, not altering her words. Though by copying it all the coding and coloring coding showed up. Which I deleted.

She did have that as #DCLOT. A hashtag. I am not sure if she would have abbreviated it that way otherwise.

Or Leg O' Tom?
:guffaw:

No it's official tile is DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Like Marvel's Agents of Shield or Marvel's Avengers. I think since it doesn't have a specific character's name in the title they are putting the company's name in it so people can see with one glance it's a DC Comics show. Calling it WB's Legends of Tomorrow makes it sound like it's going to be a mashup of characters from Warner Bros. movies and TV shows.

WB's beyond the lot, is something else, which I briefly thought was DC's beyond the lot.

A youtube channel for Warner brothers.

I was pointing out the inconsequential similarity.

Honestly, I'm not thrilled that the showrunner is the guy who did The Tomorrow People. That was a pretty mediocre show.

The Tomorrow people was a reboot of a 70s show, which means that there were some bad concepts and tropes in there that they had to use and couldn't side step, or the greater story might not make so much sense, because fish rots from the head.

Unless it's that cheese about his daddy in suspended animation which gave you a softon?

#### that ####.

On the plus side, he apparently got his start on Veronica Mars (story editor, executive story editor, and occasional writer). He was also a consulting editor and occasional writer on Political Animals, and (though I never really gave the show a chance) he was a co-executive producer on Chuck. That's not a bad pedigree given that he's only been in the industry for about a decade, though I agree that The Tomorrow People work gives me pause.

^I lost interest in Chuck sometime during its second episode, I think. No, actually, I lost interest in the teaser of the pilot, but I made myself stick around just in case it got better, and it didn't.

I am curious when we will find out who is playing Vandal Savage. Perhaps it will be announced next weekend at Comic Con.

A new trailer was shown at Comic-Con, though it doesn't reveal any new footage.

How much will Sara [the White Canary]’s resurrection affect the characters on Arrow, or will that be kept separate?

Guggenheim: No, we’re going to cover that whole story on Arrow. She’ll be ready to go for Legends by the time Legends starts up.

How did you come up with the title of the show?

Guggenheim: Geoff Johns suggested working “legends” into the title. Obviously, because of the TNT show, we couldn’t call it Legends. But he pointed out that the word “legends” has a lot of currency in the DC lore. You’ve got the original Legends series from 1987, you’ve got Legends of the Dark Knight, Legends of the DC Universe. So we really jumped at using “legends” in the title. And Greg Berlanti came up with “of tomorrow,” which makes so much sense when you consider they are legends in the future.

Which series do you think we might see Vixen on first, in live-action?

Guggenheim: I have no idea! The answer, truly, depends on which series comes up with the best story. Our approach is always the same; we first start out with, “What’s a good story to tell?” We don’t think about, “Oh, we’re going to do this character and stick them in there.” Then the cart’s really dragging the horse, and I think that’s when things start to fall apart. I personally would love to see her on Arrow first. That’s my personal preference. What’s wonderful about Megalyn [Echikunwoke] is that she looks the part. She’s a great actress, and we’re very lucky to have her in the animated series. It’d be wonderful to have her come play on one of the three shows.

I saw the Vixen trailer - I think I did too much crack at lunch because I'm sure they had Vixen running past mud-huts while being chased by a Lion and a Zebra in what appeared to be 'Africa' ... in 2015.
