I admit, I'm puzzled at how someone could see a picture of the Hawkpersons and be reminded of Thor. What's the connection? The helmets, maybe (although movie Thor has never worn one)? Or is the mace reminiscent of Thor's hammer? I don't see much similarity between the characters otherwise.

I'm struck by how much the helmet design draws on the DC Animated Universe version of Hawkgirl -- bronze on top, black on the front and sides. The comic version tends to be more solidly bronze or bronze in front fading to black on the sides.

I'd like to see the backs of the costumes. How does the design deal with the wings that presumably grow out when the Hawks take flight? Are there some kind of flaps or slits for them?

Oh, okay -- and with wings on the sides, too. I guess that's the point of reference. Still, not much else in common between the characters.
