I think the height thing is interesting, but maybe that's because I'm a 6' tall girl. I used to hate being as tall as I was (your first day walking into high school and being taller than most of the seniors when you're really shy and kind of just want to be ignored is no fun), but now I love being tall.
The majority of the guys I've dated have been shorter than me. Two of my boyfriends have been about 5'6". It generally hasn't bothered me. The guy I'm dating now is a couple inches taller than me, and it is pretty nice to not have to bend down to kiss someone.

The arrogant person throws it in your face. They don't just make room, they take room. The arrogant person is the person who drops names because they can, not because they just happen to know so and so (and it's a relevant topic). The hot person may know she or he has the goods and the guts but s/he doesn't feel the need to advertise it. It's like "old money" and "new money." OM is hot. NM is arrogant. A hot person admits there's always somebody higher up the proverbial food chain and doesn't care about associating with people "lower" on the food chain. The arrogant person feels the need to associate only with those at his/her "level" or higher. The hot person's got a clue. The arrogant person doesn't - or does but is too insecure to admit it. The hot person isn't patronizing. The arrogant person is.
