The workshop is not much to look at at the moment, I need to build some2-car garage...
proper storage.

All that room and you aren't tripping over a bunch of stuff. Plus, it's so disgustingly CLEAN

The opposite wall is not so tidy. 
Aw after checking out this thread a bit I want a house and a garage too! We have garages in my apartment complex but I have no idea how long the wait for one is...need one when I get my Camaro, there's no way I'll dare leave that out in the open overnight.
Also terribly jealous on all you handy people, I'm not very handy. Sure I can paint, sand, wash, wax and that kind of stuff, but no precision or actual build work. I'm more the cook variety.

I have another of those large, green shelves, but it's in my storage unit with 99% of the rest of my parts, pieces, and bits. That radial arm saw is one my dad gave me that he and I rebuilt in 1985. IIRC, he bought it new in 1967 and I've had people offer to buy it from me. Dad stuck it in his pole barn for some 15 years, so now I have to disassemble it, clean it up, and build a new table for it. It does work great.
Also note I bought one of those 5lb parts vibrator/tumblers from Harbor Freight to clean up the hardware from my Super Beetle. The nuts and bolts are looking great. No more rusty fasteners!
I've been waiting for the weather to warm up so I can install the window rubber in the Super. It needs to sit in the sun for a couple of hours to get pliable, making installation much easier. You can also see I've been rattle-can painting parts from the Super. That's all brake backing plates, engine tin, and other parts.
I helped a friend move his washer to his mother's house as that one has a problem with the timer. She was going to pitch it but I told her I'd take it. I just got it home tonight, and there's so much crap in the back room that I have no room for the washer there (yet). I got it so that I have a separate washing machine for my greasy clothing from automotive work.
I had an electrician come out the other day for a bid on work. When we got to the garage he noticed that the garage door has been walled off. He asked if I was like the guy building a boat in the basement, wondering if I'd be able to get the car outkitsune, you really need to get over to JP's garage and straighten things upBut look who's talking... his garage looks like my (renovations in progress) basement :/

I have half a mind to build my storage cabinets in such a way that they'd look at home on a TNG set, with labels looking like they were made by the Star Trek art department...
Put my back into the second tier after I hit the Depot for 6 more landscape ties today. There was a very large stump that had to come out but LUCKILY it pulled easily. Looking down from my livingroom window you can see it was no small obsticle
And by 5 o'clock, after hours of serious digging, I got some of the ties drilled and staked after leveling and raking
and tomorrow I should have the entire level finished. Then it's on to tier number three...

We want to take advantage of the good weather so most likely we'll be painting the exterior when all the shingling is done. We sealed the shingles today since we have a good stretch of sunny days. Our plans also include getting our shed moved to a new location (near where I took down the tree in the front yard) and framing in a stone driveway. That shed will also need to get painted and the front door totally replaced. We're also talking about a kitchen overhaul with all new cabinets and countertop but that's down the road a bit. We have windows to replace, a basement to finish, basement and attic access stairs to install, some serious landscaping... the list goes on
We bought the house for $143,000 and the new appraisal (which took into consideration our renovations) for our April refinance was $190,000. A few more years of upgrades should reap us a decent amount of equity someday, especially in a better economy. We're going to just keep plugging away until it's all done

I'm itching to get outside.. it's a beautiful day and I want to see some real progress. The window well and cover are going to get totally removed (godz, they're awful looking) and the basement window will stay exposed. It'll look a lot cleaner this way.
Wow. I wish I had a 10th of the space some of you guys got to work in. Living in a Bungalow in the UK I have no Garage and no spare room, so work like this just doesnt get done as much as I would like to.
Although I am currently in the middle of respraying my Trek XI Phaser (outside) after a couple of screwups on my part and the fact that the frikkin thing just wont let the paint settle, even after ive sanded it twice, cleaned it and primed.
