TNG were done after the end of the 7th season in my eyes. Maybe first half of Generations but that's about it.

Then the films and Picard shouldn't bother you.

Notice how I said,"in my eyes" in that sentence? That's me being completely subjective. Any incarnation of the franchise always elicits an emotional response from me ... of course they bother me one way or the other.

I was in agreement until this point. If I don't like it then I ignore it. To me TNG ended with All Good Things.

I love the TNG characters, but goddamnit there has to come a time when you say a story is done. They got their swan song, they took their bow. Stop dragging them back onstage.

That's one way TOS is better than TNG. TOS ended with TUC, and that was more or less The End. Yes, we had Kirk back in Generations, along with Scotty and Chekov. And Nimoy returned for the Abrams movies, but that still didn't change the fact that TUC was a satisfying conclusion to TOS and everyone moved on from that. But with the TNG gang? A part of me actually wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with one last adventure. Even if it were with a 90 year old Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner in his 80s and everyone else in their 70s.

I hope we're done with the TNG crew. I liked TNG and I enjoyed Season 3, but their time is done and it's time for new blood to take the reigns.

I wouldn't mind guest appearences from the DS9 cast though, especially Nicole DeBoar.

I hope they’re done as well.

Which likely means they’ll be back.

I’d like to see some DS9 cast well. Besides a few mentions, we haven’t seen anyone besides Worf.

Kira and Quark appeared in Lower Decks and Odo appeared in Prodigy.

I’ll have to check those out. I’ve been holding off on the cartoons up to this point.
