Are there really 285 rules...

I totally love when Quark or some other Ferengi starts to quote some rule of acquisition. The only question I have is that are really 285 rules, no matter where I look I can only find a few dozen. Does anyone know if where I could find a complete list of them...

Heck yeah, if Quark says there are, then yep, there are 285 rules. I think the reason why there isn't any written material on the full list is because not all 285 rules were mentioned in the series. Man, I need to watch this show again... I really miss DS9

There is actually a book (more like a booklet) by Ira Steven Behr. There aren't 285 rules in it (and #34 & 35 are reversed if Quark is to be believed, when he corrected Jadzia on-screen about 'Peace is good for business' & 'War is good for business'). There are a total of 81 rules of acquistion listed by Behr.

Thats a pretty old book. It was published back in 1995. I remebering buying it when it came out.
