What I don't understand is that I'd have thought that, to entertain the possibility that Discovery might be canceled, we'd first need the barest possible hint--a single, lonely viable hint--that this could happen. And...we don't. Mount's tweet isn't evidence: the show is done filming; of course he might be unemployed. And citing Nerdrotic is the digital version of hearing flat-earthers talking in the produce aisle of the grocery store and going home and telling your partner that the Earth might be flat. Shouldn't the first rule of sharing hearsay be that something about the source need be credible before sending it out into the digital ether?
