Are all star trek words from other languages copyrighted?

Hello, I was interested in starting a website, and wanted to use a word from the start trek universe completely unrelated to star trek, or tv or movies for that matter.

My question is are all of those words copyrighted by Paramount, or were the languages mainly created by Trekkies?

I am not a huge star trek fan, but I thought it would be funny to use a word from like Klingon to stand for a site.

Anyone who can provide any information on this will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure whether a language, even an invented one, is protectable intellectual property.

I don't know if it's copyrighted, but the chances of you getting into trouble with it are virtually zero.

I know that in the case of the one I'm creating...I would MUCH prefer to be asked first before someone uses it.
