Archie Comics' Sexual Harassment Scandal

Sounds like a scene from Sex in the City.

I dunno - where some see "sexual harassment" I see comedy. At least when it comes to someone going all odd and shouting out "penis penis penis", anyway.

This case gets stranger:

  • The co-CEO of Archie Comics' says she couldn’t have discriminated against her underlings - because they’re white men.

    In papers filed in Westchester Supreme Court, Nancy Silberkleit's lawyer says a gender discrimination lawsuit filed against her earlier this year by a group of Archie Comics employees should be tossed in part because white guys aren’t members of “a protected class.”

Okay, not an atypical answer in a lawsuit, but then the article has this allegation, which I'd never read about before in relation to the case:
  • Silberkleit, they say, invited Hell’s Angels to Archie’s Mamaroneck offices in an apparent effort to “intimidate” them, and has repeatedly inquired about the whereabouts of the handgun and 750 rounds of ammo her husband kept at the office. She's also stalked the employees and their families, the suit says.

So, now it's "Archie meets Sons of Anarchy" or "Jughead at Altamont"?
 
I find the word Seaquest far more offensive than the word penis, and if you say the word Seaquest into a mirror 3 times, Jonathan Brandis comes back from the dead to drag your soul to Hell.

Quite. Remember that one miniseries which explored what Archie's later life would have been like in each case if he had married both of them? One of the parallel stories, he married Betty, and the other one, Veronica. IIRC, Veronica treated Archie like shit...

It's not a female thing, it's a four-year-old thing.

If a grown woman who's co-CEO of a major publishing company goes around shouting "Penis, penis, penis!", I'd say she has serious mental issues.
 
Ok, here is the A/V and A/B storylines I was talking about. And it looks like I misremembered a bit - Veronica's not so bad after all, in either reality. ;)
 
Hipsters generally have an inability to grasp concepts-- they have a tendency to think that only Whites can be bigots, only men can be chauvinistic, et cetera.
 
You obviously have first hand experience, because I'm not even sure if hipsters are "real" considering the extremities of the profiling provided by popular media...

I thought that was called "liberals" or "democrats". Hipsters are over stylized youth who live in starbucks writing their blogs, twitter & Facebook posts, etc.
