I encouraged you to take your grievances up with your employer, so how is that acquiescing to the corporate mindset, whatever that may mean?
If you don't like what your employer does or think that there's room for improvement and if you can make a case, possibly backed up by other co-workers, than you should talk to them, in a diplomatic way, of course, not in the belligerent tone evident in your OP. I've done it and sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. But at least, I had done what I could instead of being constantly frustrated about something while at work.
