Anyone tried Orbiter Simulator?

Hi,

Has anyone tried Orbiter Simulator? You get a shuttle to launch into orbit, as well a few science fiction spacecraft. Of course this is based on real physics.

Its good stuff, how ever I'm not very good with it, I have managed to reach orbit, and do a few engine burns to achieve a stable orbit around the planet. As for going to the Moon, well, or Mars, nope.

Launching from Mars to orbit using the Delta Glider is fairly easy to get into orbit. But then that isn't real.

Any other spacecraft requires addons. But learning to get into the orbit with the shuttle is the way to go, the delta glider is easiest.

I tried it years ago, before KSP was even a thing. It was pretty decent from what I remember, but definitely more of a flightsim kind of thing.

I was thinking just how large a craft could be assembled in orbit.

The scaled down ITS looks like it could return modified SLS engine blocks. A payload free SLS core or three have tanks placed in orbit--later filled with LOX. The forward LOX tanks colect any boil off as well.

A BFR core is placed in orbit--also payload free. Later ITS missions fill that with all kerosene--with LOX in SLS cores.

I wonder how much payload that could take to the Moon or Mars.
