There's no trick or treating where I live, but if I had a Star Trek uniform, say Uhura-style, I would definitely wear it at a Halloween party. And I'd be very proud to do so.I've head a lot people say that dressing up as a Star Trek character is nerdy, geeky and so on, but I think it's downright cool.
I agree 100%, after all, I went as Spock last year

And how did people respond? Any unfriendly comments?

Hated it?, they loved it!, when I wore it on homecoming week on costume day when I was a junior, I heard from everyone that I was the only person who went Star Trek and like I said everyone loved my costume even on Halloween
I had all intents on going to a party I was invited to, but not being able to find a TNG movie style uniform in close vicinity of where I live, the plans are falling through. Most of the websites I have looked at only have Star Trek 2009 costumes!

Should we be calling it "trek or treating" or is that too corny?
