Anyone trick or treating?

(I'm not sure if there is a thread about this topic or not)
I only want to ask two questions

1. Is anyone trick or treating? My answer-yes

2. Is anyone dressing up as a Star Trek character? my answer-yes, even though I'am a girl, I'am going as Captain Kirk

Only if my grandchildren visit for Halloween. For them I'd do anything, including dress up. Otherwise, I have not dressed up for Halloween since the 1980s, when I was a youth leader at church (it was called "Fall Festival" and scary costumes were banned).:techman:

There's no trick or treating where I live, but if I had a Star Trek uniform, say Uhura-style, I would definitely wear it at a Halloween party. And I'd be very proud to do so. ;) I've head a lot people say that dressing up as a Star Trek character is nerdy, geeky and so on, but I think it's downright cool.

I agree 100%, after all, I went as Spock last year

And how did people respond? Any unfriendly comments?

Hated it?, they loved it!, when I wore it on homecoming week on costume day when I was a junior, I heard from everyone that I was the only person who went Star Trek and like I said everyone loved my costume even on Halloween

Only if I somehow wind up taking my godson. Although his mother is so against him having candy that I can't see that happening.

I had all intents on going to a party I was invited to, but not being able to find a TNG movie style uniform in close vicinity of where I live, the plans are falling through. Most of the websites I have looked at only have Star Trek 2009 costumes!

I'll just wear my regular clothes to Trick or Treat with my kids, but I'll wear my Star Trek uniform to work for our Halloween parade for the students. I wear it every year, and have never gotten any negative. I have, however, found a few closet fans as a result.

I won't be trick or treating, but I will be doing what I always do. I sit on my front porch in my wheelcahair, and the neighborhood kids bring me candy.

Have you tried this site?
