anyone remember this old Mtv show?

they used to show it late at night on Mtv during the 80's & my cousins, sis & I would get to watch it whenever the family had a party & we were allowed to stay up late. It was 3 British guys that lived in an apartment or something & one had a mohawk. I dont remember anything else other than one ep where one of them was trying to get rid of a rat.

Does anybody remember MTV's "The Cutting Edge," sponsored by I.R.S. records and hosted by Peter Zaremba? It was on (IIRC) Saturday nights once a month. That was a great show with a lot of bands the were "underground" in the '80s. Seeing bands like R.E.M. or X or the Blasters or Red Hot Chili Peppers on TV back then was so rare and cool, it was like getting transmissions from the moon or something.

I'm convinced todays generation has no idea the "M" in MTV stands for Music. Because even when they do play videos, it's mostly crap.

hey at least the few non-music video tv shows they played in the 80's & early 90's where actually good. Nowadays its reality crap like My Sweet Sixteens.

& then there was Beavis & Butthead.
