Anyone Remember "Mercy Point"?

I-Am-Zim

Captain
Hey! Does anyone remember that show, "Mercy Point"? I was just thinking about it recently and remembered that it was called "Deep Space 9-1-1" by TV Guide, I think. I watched it a little back in the 90's and just barely remember it. I think it only went one season. Does anyone know where to get the show on DVD?

I very much doubt this show is available on DVD given that only a handful of episodes (I think less than 10) were produced before it was canceled.

Saw it once or twice and it just made that much more sad that no one has ever adapted James White's Sector General stories for the screen.

Man I thought I was the only one who remembered that! I only caught it like once or twice and my ma and I were going "Is this Star Trek?" and when I mentioned it years later no one had any effin' clue what I was talking about.

Mercy Point...

I remember seeing it mentioned in Starburst or the UK Tv Guide at one point. Don't think it ever aired here, but I liked the sound of it.

I remember watching the first episode. I don't remember anything about it other than Phil Morris's character writing a letter to his sister (who may have been missing or some such).

The sad thing is, if they had just called it "Star Trek: Mercy Point," it would have run for seven years . . . .

Remember it. Trying to forget it.

Space Rangers. Now THERE was a fun-as-hell show that only lasted 6 episodes.

I thought I was the only person who remembered that show. I think I watched most of it, but I just can't remember much about it. I do remember that I liked it. I'm still looking for it on DVD. If anyone has it, I'd like to know where you got it or how to get it.
