"Sorry; I can't talk to you about that. Go to your parents. Seeya."

I'm not really in favor of the law, but it does say *teachers* can't discuss any sexual orientations other than heterosexuality. It doesn't say that *counselors* have this prohibition.

I admit that I'm curious what the legal deliniation between 'counselor' and 'teacher' is in the Tennesee code. I've got no problem with law requiring a true counselor, since a lot of teachers are not only not trained in this field, but may be pushing a personal political agenda above and beyond the needs of a child.

Really, though, I'm kinda disturbed that Takei is not only making a mockery of himself (hell, Shatner makes money off of this), but setting back the general acceptance of homosexuality by a few decades.

I doubt that. Mel Brooks had it right:
