Anyone else watched Hinterland/Y Gwyll?

Hinterland is a nordic noir style detective series set in Wales, and I found the English version recently on Netflix (they also filmed it in Welsh, which is known as Y Gwyll, or "The Dusk") and started watching as it's filmed in and around Aberystwyth where I went to university.

Just wondered if anyone else had seen it? If not I thoroughly recommend it.

Netflix doesn't have season 3 so I'm going to get the DVDs, might even go for the Welsh version as well.

I might be going back to Aber in the hext couple of weeks anyway, so might buy the DVDs there. It'll be weird seeijg the place since watching the series as well, in reality it's the nicest place ever!

All those series go for "atmosphere" trying to depict a certain tone... in the case of Hinterland they were going for "decay."
But from time to time they would slip up and show stuff that proved its a regular place, not some desperate wild full of murderers.
