I agree about Season Two. I do think the relative boredom that was Season One also contributed partly, but I think it was the middle of Season Two that really killed the show.
The OP's original post seems more like a defense of Voyager's stand-alone episodes, technobabble solutions and time travel reset buttons than anything else.
