Anyone Else Have This "Phobia"?

I have not a phobia, but a slight anxiety when I begin a fantasy or some sci-fi novel with a large cast of characters and lots of different places that I may become lost or confused and forget who people are or where they're going.
I know many books have a cast of characters and/or a glossary of terms...but when I seet hat it just makes me more nervous because they apparently think they need that!

Hoo yeah.

Especially when the characters and places have ridiculous names like zyzax'sadrr and sjuzcleops. On more then a few occasions I have forgotten who the characters are and where they are going.

I'm not saying it's a fear that's often justified. I've read Lord of the Rings and only get Merry and Pippin mixed up, and I watch Lost without problems, but it's the feeling that I may possibly forget that irks me.
