I have a roleplay going on in the Star Trek Timelines chat right now and it's slowly evolved into it's own fanfiction... anyone RP on STO (on Xbox one, my platform?)

I stopped playing STO because no one RP's, it seems. Just uninstalled it the other night. My character has been on there since the game was pay-to-play. It's a Science Captain with an Intrepid-class ship.

I tried once to do roleplay on STO. I invited a friend over to my ship to give him a tour. Big mistake, as he was always jumping around and threatening to shoot my NPC crew. Never tried it again. 
There are a number of well developed rp storylines going on on Second Life. TOS, TNG era, Movie Era, Lost Era, even pre-NX01.

I've found that Discord can be very useful for organising Star Trek RP. I've been running one with a few personal friends and, while we've only been doing it a week or so, it's working very well due to the messaging application's instant nature.
I mean, I used to do a lot of it on Livejournal (writing paragraphs at a time etc) with Star Trek. I do other fandoms with RP at the moment but I do miss Star Trek RP (I always play McCoy) so I'll have to check out Discord to see if I can find any partners again.
