Any old timers still around?

I think the picture was from either 2004 or 2005, give or take.

I'm in there and I didn't join till mid 2005.

It's from no earlier than January 16, 2006, because the photos of me that are in that collage were taken the night before.

(No, my memory's not that good... but I'm an email pack-rat, and it only took me a second to find the email Robert J. Sawyer sent me the next day, with the photos from the party he threw on the 15th. :) )

Yeah I was going to say, I don't think I began posting immediately so I wouldn't be surprised if it was later on. I felt lost here for a long time and I remember that being one of the first times I felt acknowledged!

Speaking of old timers, I miss Mallory. I know it's been said a million times since he passed but that man helped make the forums a real joy to visit and post in. His avatar is still in my Friends List and I always enjoy watching it pop up every so often to remind me of some of the Golden years of TBBS.

This place hasn't been the same since we lost him. Cheers, old friend. You were loved and enjoyed.

Agreed. Wholeheartedly. :(

LOL Bon soir, in that case :)
Munich is only about 90 mins by car away from my town. If you like we could meet next time you're in the vicinity. I used to have a weekend job in Munich and at Munich airport as a meet&greet person and tourist guide, so I could show you around a bit.
We'd have to stick with English, though. My French is only very basic (sufficient for greetings and for reading a menu, but not for a real dialogue). French kissing is a totally different matter, though :D

I wasn't in the collage either. And, at the risk of being Shameless, I had several 'How you doin?' reactions to folks I didn't recognize.

It'd be kinda sweet to label them. Um, for science. :)

Is Crusher Disciple in there somewhere? She usually is in these collages. I don't see her gorgeous mug.

I think that's her at the top row, point of the emblem.

Lots of oldies in there, Barcode, Bears...

I joined in '02 but I'm not in the thingy. Then again, I think a long time went by before I ever posted a pic of me. (To this day I've only met one board member face to face)

Thanks for letting me know this was here, rhubarbadendron
You're welcome :) And welcome back!
I've never seen you drunk yet. Shall we put that on the sightseeing list for my next trip to London? :D
Might be a wile, though, till I can afford another vacation in GB. I moved in September (argh! Did I give you my new address??) and it cost rather a bit. I still owe my dad about 2500 Euros.

Btw, would you like a few German cookies to go with that mulled wine? I could send some for you and your family. How many will you be for Christmas?

I never turn down cookies, but they may need to wait until after the holidays as I leave for my sisters tomorrow.

You did give me your address yes. :)
