Tripping the Rift was grotty, but it's clear the writers went insane because they were practically writing porn.

Space Clown Strippers?

Madness!

There was another show from one of the creators of RD, "The Strangerers" though from memory whilst it was supposed to be funny, it wasn't.

In 1999, I came to the same conclusion.

I saw the Strangerers again more recently, when I wasn't young and drunkingly sleeping around while it was on half the time...

It gets better.

In 1999, the Secret agents were who cares, but suddenly (10 years later) it's the girl from coupling and one of the guys from Spaced!

Besides, that's Ron Weasly's dad in the lead!

Plus of course that show stealing Paul Darrow from Avon's 7 sorry that's Blake's 7.

Hey! Gareth Thomas was in the Strangerers too!

Also... Mark Heap played Avon in Blake's Seven Junction.

They kept making full cast hitcherhikers guide radio shows well into this millennium covering the first 5 books up to Mostly Harmless... With mostly the same cast as the TV series, which isn't much of a surprise since the radio show dropped before the TV series did.

And I loved it on the Neighbours when the Aliens said that their favourite Earth Tv series was 3rd Rock from the Sun.

There was a crappy movie made in 1990 called Spaced Invaders... A small squad of 4 foot tall Aliens invade Earth on Halloween and everyone mistakes them for trick or treating preschoolers... Or/and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

At one point they're threatening an over weight woman with their ray blaster, who still believes that they are uppity children... "Surrender Earthling or I'll turn you into toast! Actually... I'll turn you into a loaf of toast!"

I own Spaced Invaders on DVD. It's one part of a substantial bad/cheesy movies collection.

^ I enjoy it, but hard to tell.

Like I said earlier, Evil Alien Conquerors is really bad, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I own both of those too.

Also, not sci-fi, but possibly the original horror spoof movie, I own Student Bodies.
